RAW vs JPEG

The main difference between RAW and JPEG is that RAW isn’t a picture it’s a file with data on it while a JPEG is an image format. A RAW file has a bigger file than a JPEG file due to having all of the image information captured by the camera’s sensors. To turn your RAW file into a JPEG file is by going to software like Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. You can edit and export them as a JPEG or a PNG. If I was shooting an important event, I would shoot it as a JPEG because it can be easily opened, and you can preview it first.
