This photo is warm, blurred, patterned, dark background, shadows, calm, exellent, dramatic, powerful, flattering, astonishing, appealing, lively, lifelike, artistic, modest, wonderful, rich, splended, classic, breathtaking, clean, explicit, fabulous, extraordinary.

Action and Motion

35.mm, 1/5 sec, f/11, ISO 200, Shutter Priority mode

20.mm, 1/5 sec, f/7.1, ISO 200, Shutter Priority mode

33.mm, 1/125 sec, f/14, ISO 100, Shutter Priority mode

33.mm, 1/125 sec, f/10, ISO 100, Shutter Priority mode

What I think the technical info of this photo is 1/25, f/12, 55 mm.

What I think the technical info of this photo is 1/1000, f/10, 85 mm.

Motion Blur is the opposite of sharpness it makes the moving subject have blur. Best types of motion blur can be when shooting something fast like cars or a moving train. The photo might come out with a blur subject but a sharp background. To achieve this type of style is to set the camera at Shutter Priority mode, anything below 1/60th of a second, an f stop of 12 or 16, the lens should be at 55mm, and an ISO of 100. Another way to get motion blur is to zoom into a subject while taking a photo.

Action Sharp is when the subject you’re shooting is moving but the photo comes out sharp instead of blurred. This technique is mostly used for photographers that shoot car races or sports. To shoot this type of style the camera is set at shutter priority mode, the lens would be a much longer lens like 85 – 200 mm, anything higher than 1/125, and the ISO at 400. If all of this is achieved, then the end result would be a great picture of action sharp.

Depth of Field

Av mode, ISO 400, 1/320 sec, f/5.6, 55 mm

AV mode, ISO 400, 1/60 sec, f/16, 18mm

I guess that this photograph aperture is at f/5.6, the lens mm is at 55mm, and the shutter speed is at 1/500.

I think this photographs aperture is at f/11, the lens mm is at 18mm, and the shutter speed is at 1/125.

Depth of Field is when the photographer focuses on a subject and the background or other subjects are blurred out. There are two types of depth of fields there’s shallow or good.  Good depth of field is when there is focus on everything so the whole picture is visible. Shallow depth of field is when it focuses on one subject and blurs out the rest of the picture. One example of good depth of field is the mountain photo and one good photo of shallow depth of field is the flower photo.

The two different types of depth of field use different types of settings. The shallow depth of field’s has a focal length of 55mm, the mode should be set at AV, the aperture is set at f5.6., and the shutter speed should not be below 1/60th of a second. The good depth of field has a focal length of 18mm, the mode should also be set on AV, the aperture is set at f16, and the shutter speed should also not be below 1/60th of a second. Both photos have to be different from each other because one is zoomed in and the other is zoomed out. Depth of field is a good subject to work on even though it might be tricky.

Framing

1/800 sec, f/7.1, ISO 400, Manual, 45.00 mm

1/250 sec, f/7.1, ISO 3200, Manual, 50.00 mm

My photographs don’t have weak composition but not strong composition it has framing and a primary point. I believe that I did an okay job at editing my photos. The window photo seems like it’s in the afternoon and the mountain in the background has a cool shadow. The bench did not have enough focus on it, but it seems like it has a type of dark lighting to it. Some things I would do differently in my photos is to get a better focus on the subject I’m shooting on and maybe find a better frame. My photographs could be in the blog home page because I haven’t seen a framing photograph that was edited like mine but after all everyone has a different style; they might like better than others. I don’t think it should be considered the best from all of the photo classes because there might be another photograph that could top mine.

Digital Collage

My collage represents me by having the things that make me my own person. The three albums on the top right are mostly my favorite to listen too. I like the rhythm of the music and how the lyrics fit each other really well. The movies on the top left are some that I like to rewatch often. The Conjuring is interesting because it is based on a true story. La La Land is such a good story on how reaching your dreams could also result in leaving people behind to make those dreams happen. The robot on the bottom right is one of my favorite characters in a movie that I grew up watching as a kid. Also, spider man is one of my other favorite characters because of how he is willing to help protect the city even though he has problems of his own. The Walking Dead is a tv show I enjoy watching, the plot is nerve racking and I like how it could change in a matter of minutes. The tennis ball represents that I play a sport, sometimes it gets hard but with enough practice it gets easier. Most of my clothes come from the store Tilly’s and I like the style of the clothes, it tends to follow the new trends. Chococat is a cute character, it reminds me of my own cat that was black and my other white and gray cat. The app that is used the most in my phone is Spotify, all the music I like is on there and it makes me feel relaxed like no one’s bothering me. My favorite candy has to be Swedish Fish because they come in a funny fish shape, they’re not too sweet and they are a gummy.

Alternative Angles

1/3200 sec, f/4.0, ISO 400, 18 mm, Manual

1/2700 sec, f/4.0, ISO 400, 18 mm, Manual

1/2700 sec, f/4.0, ISO 400, 18 mm, Manual

1/250 sec, f/13, ISO 400, 25 mm, Manual

This photograph has an alternate angle. The man is propped up from the ground and onto the side of the bridge. The picture seems to be kind of confusing to look at. From our point of view the man is upright. But probably from the camera man’s angle the guy is sideways and the photo was taken horizontally but edited vertically. Also, is the man actually pushing himself up by the one arm? How would he have balanced? It makes someone think about it and have many questions. The photo includes leading lines because it is a walkway on a bridge. Overall, this is a successful photo of alternative angles.

I chose this photo because it stuck out to me than all of the other ones. It made my tilt my head to see that the guy was not actually on the ground. I can’t figure out if he had used photoshop to lift himself up into that position. The leading lines are side to side but in reality, they are leading somewhere up, and it makes me confused. The wall also looks like the great wall of China. There is a lot of trees and greenery in the background. The shadow makes the photo seem realistic. The exposure is at a great setting which can be seen. One improvement could be to edit out the people in the walkway. In my opinion this is a great picture that’s showing alternative angles.
