What I learned about camera exposure and camera modes

Camera exposer is about the exposure of light when taking a photo. There are three different types of settings, aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. These three settings make an exposure triangle.  Exposure can be like getting rainwater in a bucket you don’t want too much (overexposed) or too little (underexposed). To get a perfect picture, width, time, and quantity will be a main part. For the same amount of rainfall there would need to be a bigger bucket to spend less time in the rain. Rainfall or in other words sunlight is not under your control.  The exposure triangle is made up of three types of settings, aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. Aperture can control the area of how much light can come in the camera. ISO controls the sensitivity of the camera’s senser to an amount of given light. The shutter speed controls the amount of exposure given. Each setting can also influence different properties.  The shutter speed is about how long light can get into the camera. If the shutter speed is faster, it means it has a shorter time to let light in or exposure. If the amount of time of the exposure doubles it will also double the amount of light.  The aperture setting is in control in which area can get light into the camera lens. As the f-stop decreases the camera lens gets larger. Cameras can have a different range values. The aperture setting determines the depth of a photo. The ISO setting is the sensitivity of how much light is coming into the camera. The ISO setting is almost like the shutter speed, but it can determine how much image noise there can be. There are different modes in a camera, and they can influence the three settings. Cameras also have different pre-set modes like portrait, night mode and landscape mode. The modes rely on the cameras metering system to know the proper exposer.
